Support » Fixing WordPress » Server Error: HTTP error 500

  • One of my sites – snobcoffery.com – just started experiencing 500 error, on both the site and the wp login. Based on what I’ve read, this is often due to plugin or theme issues. I’ve deactivated the theme and the plugins but am still experiencing this error.

Here’s what I have tried so far.
    – From my file manager, I renamed the plugin folder to “plugins_old” and created a new “plugins” folder.
    – From phpmyadmin, in wp-options, I set “template” and “stylesheet” to “twentyten”.
    – From phpmyadmin, in wp-options, I set “active_plugins” to “a:0:{}”.

    Anything I’m missing?

    Thanks.

  • Update: Blue Host support was able to fix a PHP syntax error in post.php. I’m still getting a white screen when navigating to the domain (no errors, just white screen). I *can* log in to the wp-admin, but after the login screen it is just white.

    Still hunting…
