# Server error after updating functions.php

 * I added a line of code to functions.php and hit ‘update’ when I received the 
   following error message:
 * The website encountered an error while retrieving [http://pinkrecipebox.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=functions.php&theme=platform](http://pinkrecipebox.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=functions.php&theme=platform).
   It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly
 * I can’t go back or access the Dashboard, so I can’t copy and paste the functions.
   php code for you to see.
 * Anyone have any advice?

 * Forgot to mention – I did manage to return to functions.php earlier and delete
   the piece of code I added, but I got the same error afterwards.

 * I managed to re-upload a clean version of functions.php, so I can now access 
   my Dashboard but the site (www.pinkrecipebox.com) still shows an error.

 * Must have been some sort of theme-related error.
    I switched theme and it’s now
   working again. Resolved – kind of.
