 * When I try to update the plugin, I get a error page “server error 500”.
 * In the log file, I find the following error message: PHP Warning: include(/home/…/
   wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.pack.php): failed to open stream:
   No such file or directory in /home/…/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-
   manager.php on line 22
 * Any ideas what could cause this error?
    Thanks, Christoph

 * Looks like the files is not update properly, delete old version, install latest
   version and activate.

 * Same here. “Server error 500”
    Causing lots of problems with our sites using
   your plugin.
 * Already followed your instruction i.e. delete, re-install and activated. However
   the following problem appears:
    “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered
   a fatal error. Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/*****/
   public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line
   12″
 * Please investigate this issue.

 * Apologies for my strong words. Your plugin was useful and easy to use. However
   causing frustration after version 2.8.3. I can’t upgrade it to the latest version(
   2.8.9) as it’s causing Server Error 500. This is the only plugin not yet updated
   to their latest version. I suspect it also contributes to security issues as
   one of my sites was recently being hacked, despite firewalls and applying security
   best practices.
 * Thanks.

 * In my case, the error has something to do with the theme I’m using (politician
   theme from themeforest). However – I haven’t found out what exactly causes the
   trouble.
