Server Error

  • I am luck that i’ve created a BackUp of my website a minute before i had installed this plugin. Upon i’ve followed the instructions to add useragents the website wend down (Internal server error). I had troubles to uninstall this plugin to because the HTaccesss keeps changing causing to effect the Internal Server error.

After making the htaccess unwritable, manually deleted this plugin i am back on track again.

I am going to make my own mobile solution, because this plugin almost killed my goodrunning website.

Why didn’t you try to contact the plugin’s author about this by posting a topic in the plugin’s dedicated sub-forum? A “review” without even attempting to contact support is pretty pointless.

Agreed— we’d love to help— that’s not an issue we’ve really seen before, WPtouch doesn’t modify .htaccess, and should NEVER bring a site down!

Please post in the support area and we can help!

A consumer review refers to a review written by the owner of a product or the user of a service who has sufficient experience to comment on reliability and whether or not the product or service delivers on its promises, otherwise known as product reviews.

Than i come to a conclusion that your comment is pointless, compared with my post what is a review.

However, it’s a bit extreme that a single plugin cause so much damage to a good working website.

dalemugford thank you for your reply,

I would love to do that, but i am unable to create a new topic in the support.

That should not be the case. Try clicking on this link.

It will take you directly to the form to submit a support topic in that plugin’s sub-forum.
