# Server Change

 * Hi,
 * I am trying to get the blog running whole day but I am not intellignt enough …
 * I do have the following things from my blog that was on a different server. The
   domain was the same [http://www.allekochen.com](http://www.allekochen.com) – 
   I just switched company.
 * I do have the following:
    – backup of the database – copy of all files with ftp
 * As you can see on my page there is still something that does not work … it seems
   that there is something redirectiing to what I do not have anymore.
 * Please help me, I am really at the end of my (little) knowledge.

 * Hi,
 * it works finally.
    What have I done:
 * – export of existing database
    – ftp copy of wordpress-files – edit new root 
   in database with notepad (with the replace command)- this was my problem, I have
   not replaced the old rootpath – upload wordpress via ftp and edit wp-config –
   upload edited database
 * Finally Works 🙂
