# Server 500 Error after installing theme

 * Hi, I’m brand new to WP…just installed WP yesterday. I purchased my new theme
   tonight and followed the instructions I found online for installing the theme
   and adding the genesis plug in because I bought a child theme. Now I can see 
   my dashboard but every time I click on ANYTHING from the dashboard I get a blank
   screen that says Server Error 500. I don’t know how to fix this because I can’t
   even get anywhere to uninstall what I just installed. Please help!!

 * Hi,
 * If you have some trouble after installing new theme, using ftp you can temporary
   rename your theme folder in wp-content/themes/… and site will use default wp 
   theme.
