Unfortunately we don’t have documentation for this available at this point in time.
This functionality is dealt with internally by the plugin – all marker data is stored in an XML file, as well as the database. Depending on the option you select the plugin will then serve it based on the option you selected.

as I could’t find the marker database on my server, may you provide the path and database name and format. I’m trying to use contact form 7 to allow members to submit the required marker data as well as some ultimate member account data (UM) and required administrativ data. From this bulk data I want to extract the relevant by script into the wpmaps database and others…
Whats my idea behind? I want to know who is providing the marker data to get in contact if necessary. Some markers will have a due dates because e.g. markets will not last forever. I want to check once a week if some markers need updates and then send automated notice to users. Markers should be assigned to a specific WP or UM user account and displayed in the user profile etc. It’s a huge project but I look forward to solve the issues.

You’d want to add your markers to the wpgmza database table.
