Serve images hosted in Google Drive

Hi
I’ve added my domain and subdomain in Optimole Dashboard Allowed Domains tab, and it works well.

But there are still several images in my Google Drive not served through Optimole CDN.
I know that is due to I have not add the Google Drive domain to Optimole Dashboard.
But I have no idea how to find the domain of those images.

Here is an image url in my Google Drive for example:
Here is the url which I use it to insert to my website
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1hm7MBb8r8p_fZbdMdxC3VYxDLcJ14GQ3

But when I open the url in browser , the url will change to:

So , if I want to add those images to Optimole CDN , which domain should I add?

Thank you for using Optimole.

Can you please share URL of the website where this image or any other resource is placed and not served by Optimole so we can check?

Images hosted in my domain and subdomains have been served through Optimole’s CDN properly.

But for images in my Google Drive, I have no idea how to deal with to serve them through Optimole.

Could you try to whitelist googleusercontent.com?

I’ve added googleusercontent.com
and clean all cache , but that image still not served through Optimole CDN.

Hi @unbosomjam,

Thank you for trying that, I’ve checked the page again, and seems like Optimole won’t be able to serve this image because it’s rendered on the page load.

If you check the page source there is https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1hm7MBb8r8p_fZbdMdxC3VYxDLcJ14GQ3 as the URL for the image and as it’s not a direct URL Optimole cannot serve it, unfortunately.

Thank you for checking.

So I try to upload a gif to my subdomain which has been allowed in Optimole dashboard.

The gif has been served through Optimole CDN , but it is invisible.

Is it due to Lazyload or Convert Gif to Mp4 method to cause that gif not display?

Hi @unbosomjam,

I’m able to replicate the problem but cannot identify the cause. I tried to download your image and in a test instance, it’s loaded fine by Optimole even with GIF to Video conversion enabled.

Would you mind contacting us via the Contact form https://optimole.com/#contact so you can provide credentials to your dashboard for further investigation?
