I have a self hosted blog on Bluehost with the WordPress installation; but I can't access the dashboard for my blog! How do I get to the dashboard? If I try to log in through wordpress.com (my blog was originally hosted on WordPress.com) it brings me to a dashboard that doesn't have the features I need- and if I try to log in through the Log In button on my site (saharmedfa.com)- it doesn't accept my username and password even though I've changed the password several times just to make sure... I'm so confused at this point- how do I gain access to the dashboard of the WordPress installation I've done through Bluehost :s I'm seriously lost :(

    Please help!
    Thank you!! :)

  2. Give these a read, these methods do not require working access to the WordPress dashboard.

Personally I like this method myself.

If you do edit the wp-content/themes/twentyeleven/functions.php file please make sure you keep a backup copy first.

WordPress.com is not the same as the wordpress you have at a hosting site. That one is the wordpress.org version that you can download.

Often the login link on your homepage will be for your customers/visitors but not for the admin.

Usually you have to go to a special admin login URL like yourdomain.com/wp-admin or something like that.
