    Hi,

    there’s a bug after updating to 3.3.00.

    1. .htaccess issue

    the old version never mess with WordPress default htacess section, since it creates its own:

    # BEGIN HMWP_RULES

    After updating the 3.3.00, it creates exactly same rules inside ‘# BEGIN WordPress’, while the HMWP_RULES also active. And when we reset / uninstall HMWP, rules inside ‘# BEGIN WordPress’ not deleted, hence, the site returns error.

    2. notice to save HMWP each time after installing new plugin.

    I already disable “Hide plugin names” and “Hide theme names” in Permalink option, but the notice to “save HMWP” always appears after installing new plugin.

    please fix these issues. it breaks the site.

    thank you

    Hi,

    Please upgrade the plugin and add in wp-config.php this line after WP_DEBUG line

    define(‘HMW_RULES_IN_WP_RULES’, false);

    It will prevent HMW from adding the rules into WordPress rewrite rules.

    Once you have Hide Themes Name and Hide Plugins Name switched off you will not receive the update HMW anymore if you add new plugins or themes.

    Best, John
