# Serendipity Import

 * Hi WP cracks!
 * I’ve tried to import all posts from my actual Serendipity blog to my new WordPress
   blog. Uff!
 * Because there is no specific import routine for Serendipity I’ve used the general
   import-rss.php. But …
    - It results in a character mix – especially with German characters like ä,
      ö and ü; even though I’ve paid attention to the character code settings
    - Hyperlinks, image tags etc. are displayed in the new (WP) blog as normal text,
      are not interpreted as code
 * Somebody here who has an idea? Made experience with importing Serendipity? Or
   even better: has a plugin or a piece of code to do this in no time?
