Sequence of podcast in player not updating as expected

    The podcast post when pulled using Divi post-module show the correct sequence on top but on the Player is not following the order.

    At first, I imported using RSS feed of anchor.fm, it worked fine, the latest showed on top, but after that, I added a podcast manually which shows on the bottom on the player.

    Also, if there any way to sync with RSS feed, to auto-import new podcasts. Currently, when I manually tried to import again using RSS feed link it creates duplicate episodes.

    Hi there. How is the player you’re using on this page being created? i.e. is it an SSP based player or a Divi player? If it’s the SSP player there is an option there for showing Ascending or Descending order: https://support.castos.com/article/41-podcastplaylist-shortcode

    For the feed auto-import you can set that up using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rss-aggregator/

    I’m using shortcode only
    [podcast_playlist style=”dark” images=”true” order=”ASC”]
    I have used custom CSS to style it.

    Just tried shortcode on a completely new page with only WordPress default block editor enabled but still, the sequence has the same issue.

    All Imported at once using RSS feed links shows fine (i.e. latest at top) but the ones manually added after that shows at bottom, whereas they should show at the top.

    Anyway, I recently found “Post Types Order” plugin & removed the order parameter shortcode & the issue is fixed now.
