# Seperate Trackbacks and Comments

 * Right as this donkey really hasn’t been put to death yet. I know that this functionality
   can be incorporated as a plugin and hacking the code itself, but wouldn’t it 
   be wiser to have it seperated for the new release?

   It’s as easy as a small plugin with two php functions. I haven’t actually got
   it working yet (php knowledge isn’t all that fantastic but it doesn’t seem too
   difficult right?

 * No way this is a hot topic. At least where I’m coming from :), and several people
   have posted this again and again. Currently everything looks messy, and to be
   honest what’s great about open source is that if you shout enough the dev could
   go that way :). So yeah PRIORITY NUMBER 1, FREEZE EVERYTHING!!! You hear me Ryan

 * I’ve written a wp-comments.php file that separates comments and track/pingbacks
   in WordPress 1.3 / 1.5.
