Separating the last five posts

Hi.
I’m looking to do something similar to Stopdesign’s frontpage, that is; having the latest post in a div by itself and the four next posts in another div.
The div’s will not be next to eachother in the code.
Is there an easy way of doing this still using The Loop?
Just wanted to ask here before I started pulling data from the DB myself.
Edit: I have looked elsewhere in the forum and done several searches with google and I’m still blank.
