Support » Plugin: Subtitles » Separate $title and $subtitle

  • Resolved jmbarroso84

    Good afternoon Philip,

    First of all, thank you for the excellent plugin you have created.

    Now I’m going with the problem I’m having. Whenever a plugin makes a call to the title, it calls the subtitle as well. Would there be any way to make a call to the title without the subtitle going with it?

    In other plugins I have solved it by adding a display: none. But this time I have not succeeded.

    The plugin in question is Ultimate author box. I attached a link where you can see the problem. The plugin is at the end of the text, when you enter “Anteriores posts” you can see the problem.

    Hopefully there is some way to fix it.

    A big hug.

    Hi there,

    Currently I am seeing the SubTitle is only shown in top with the Title, in no other places it’s showing.

    See screenshots: and

    If this is your concern then please do not add subtitle to that post, it won’t show.

    In other way, if you want to keep the Subtitle but don’t want to show in Single Post view then, please use following CSS to remove it.

    .single.postid-13117 .entry-subtitle {
        display: none;

    Thank you very much Mrinal,

    I had solved it by inserting the subtitle through shortcode. In this way I managed to do what I wanted.

    Thanks again.

    A hug.
