    Hi,

I’m using WPML, Bricks Builder, and Yoast SEO on a multilingual site. WPML is configured to use separate folders for each language.

However, Yoast is generating a single sitemap that includes content from all languages mixed together. For example:

    /blog/intelligent-search-solution-to-support-agricultural-research-work-2/
    /blog/psr-szabalyozas-ami-a-bankoknak-kihivas-szamunkra-lehetoseg-segiteni/

Is there a way to generate separate sitemaps for each language?

    Thanks,
    Zsolt

    Hello Zsolt,

Thanks for reaching out about your multilingual sitemap. The Yoast SEO plugin does not have a way to parse out different sitemaps for different languages because Google and other search engines do not require it. We add all the languages to the same sitemap. So, all posts/pages (regardless of language) will appear on the posts/pages sitemap, and the same happens for any other post type. Doing it this way will not hurt the SEO or how Google crawls your site. Your multilingual plugin adds the necessary language information on the pages themselves.
