    Hello @jricketts4 and @slash1andy

We run a shop with woocommerce subscription and use your plugin for credit card and sepa payments.

I have a question about SEPA payment and modifying a subscription (for example, a customer ask us to add a product to the subscription before renewal).

Logically, the price will increase and the amount of the renewal order generated will not be the same as the original order. Can Stripe or the customer’s bank refuse this renewal order?

    Thank you for your answer

Hi @neoseeyou – Stripe SEPA does support the ability for admin changes on subscriptions. With that being said, it’s not necessarily possible for us to speak on how the customer’s bank would respond. It’s not likely that they have record of this being a recurring charge, so it may just be treated like a new debit.

If you’d like a more intuitive answer to your question, you may consider reaching out to Stripe to find out how they look at sudden changes in the amount of a recurring SEPA type payment. Since the recurring billing aspect is handled directly within WooCommerce, we rarely see any issues on our end.
