 * I am managing a WP site and trying to do SEO on it. Don’t WP sites have Meta
Keywords, Meta Descriptions ect. Are these not put in the template as standard?
Also where do I find the HTML code for the template to input manually, and maybe
change the encoding of the site from XHTML 1.0 Transitional to Strict or whatever?

 * Have a look at SEO plugins like[ WordPress SEO](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/)
or the [all in one seo pack](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/).
 * Once installed you can then insert title and meta tags.
 * As for updating the hmle and XHTML — you need to look at the theme for that and
each theme will be different. Be careful though, because if you made changes
to a theme template and then there’s a new update, you will lose all of your
   changes.
