I’m currently running WordPress 3.5.1 with the WordPress SEO plugin (version 18.104.22.168). I also have a theme in which the homepage of my website/blog is mostly generated from shortcodes.
The main page is quite simple; there are no extra text or images. It displays a featured image, a small quote and two blocks (one for a portfolio and one for the last 3 blog posts).
The WordPress SEO check shows this page as yellow with lost of remarks to improve the SEO rating for the main page. But, due to the shortcodes and because there’s no need to add any extra content to that page, I’not sure how to improve the rating with meta data, keywords, etc.
Any suggestions on how to solve this ? Or should I just leave the SEO rating as it is ?
