SEO Set in WordPress does not carry over when pasting link

    Hi there,

    I’ve customized the SEO for each page on my website. Everything works as expected except when you copy/paste the home page url to facebook.

    When I copy the URL to my home page, the auto generated thumbnail/title/description are old. I’ve recently re-written them on the page in wordpress, but it doesn’t update.

    When I copy/paste URL to a new page, the values I type in YOAST on that page appear correctly.

    When I view the page source of my home page, there is no text that refers to the out-dated content. Where is the old/out-dated thumbnail/description coming from and why don’t the values I’ve entered into the YOAST fields override the old ones?

    Any advice is appreciated.
