    do seo plugins really work?

    i was told that wordpress already has all the necessary on page seo stuff built into it’s basic version without the need for seo plugins…is this true?

    SEO plugins will sometimes help your overall site, yes. BUT, they will not automatically help you rank better out of the box. You still need to do the normal link building and marketing for your site for any kind of plugin to be effective.

    SEO plugins definitely add to the inbuilt SEO of WordPress.
