Hello Maria,
Thanks for reaching out about your meta description. I viewed the page source, and here’s what I see:
<meta name="description" content="El doctor Juan Pablo Sánchez Zúñiga es un otorrinolaringólogo con más de 30 años de experiencia especializado en cirugía plástica facial" />
I performed a site search, and here’s a screenshot of what I see. Can you confirm if what’s in the page source is the correct description you want?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Can you let me know if the meta description I shared above is what you have added in the Yoast SEO plugin?
Hi @maybellyne
Yes, I only removed the Zúñiga, the rest is fine, thank you.
But I wanted to ask you when I search in Google “Doctor Juan Pablo Sánchez” the first code attached appears, but if I search for Doctor Juan Pablo Sánchez Zúñiga I get the full description as in the second image attached.
<h3 class="LC20lb MBeuO DKV0Md">Doctor Juan Pablo Sánchez: PROXIMAMENTE</h3>
<em> doctor Juan Pablo Sánchez Zúñiga </em> es un otorrinolaringólogo con más de 30 años de experiencia especializado en cirugía plástica facial.
My question is: How can I make it so that I only get one result with either of the two searches?
English is not my first language so I hope I made myself understood.
Hello Maria,
I see the difference you described, but when I click both search results, it’s the same page, and the page has the correct meta description in the page source as you have entered it. This means the problem is not the Yoast SEO plugin but Google.
Have you added your site to Google Search Console? Then you could request indexing so Google can update their index to match what you have added in the Yoast SEO plugin.
