• I’m probably going to noob myself here, but anyway…

In All in One SEO along with other custom post types you can enable SEO on Media. When you do that, you can have SEO Title, SEO Description and SEO Keywords on all the files when you visit Media library.

Now… here’s the Noob coming in – Is there any point on using that, will setting titles, descriptions and keywords even do anything?

Or is that SEO on images is rather all about alt tags and filenames?

Would appreciate clarification in this matter 🙂

    Thanks.

    Hi Kramarz,

In this case, this information shows up on image attachment pages; when you click on an image in WordPress, it’s possible for it to have its own page, with a title, caption, etc. Not everyone wants that on their site, but some people do, and it is supported in WordPress core.

    Thanks for clarification 🙂
