SEO doesn't recognize links

    I’ve just started using this plugin to monitor my site’s SEO settings. When checking my page SEOs I notice that they regularly come back without any outside links. Some of my links are embedded into images and I know these are usually overlooked but I also have some direct links in text such as

    “[begin html]a href=”link goes here”> link title[end html]”
    (I can’t get this to show up exactly as I put it in, suffice to say it’s the same as using the wordpress link button)

    These for some reason aren’t recognized by the Yoast plugin. Will they be recognized by crawlers from search sites or do I need to reformat my links somehow?
