Support » Plugins and Hacks » Yoast SEO » SEO defaults to above custom post type window

    Version

    WordPress: 3.5

    WordPress SEO: 1.3.4.4

    I did this:

I brand new install of WordPress. I installed Yoast’s WordPress SEO and then went to my Custom Post Type and the SEO plugin was above the Custom Post Type.
    See screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/2c2o2A2E3J25

I expected the plugin to do this:

To default below my custom post type.

    Instead it did this:
I saw the default of the Custom Post Type and the SEO plugin was above the My Custom Post Type.

    Additional Notes:
I have already set the value of the CPT to priority value to “high” and that doesn’t seem to help the issue.

I know I can drag it down, but with at least 22 users this could be quite problematic and I fear one user will input there information into the SEO plugin and not the Custom Post Type.

I saw this with the previous build but though it was fixed with the recent update to the plugin. But when I did a clean install I saw the issue again.

There’s a filter to lower it, which is now available for all sections, so use that and set it to ” or ‘normal’ or anything but ‘high’ 🙂
