 * I have a question about wordpress and SEO.
    I have an e-commerce website in computers
   and notebooks [Laptop kopen](http://hoogeveen.laptopplus.nl), its a Dutch e-commerce
   website so not relevant for foreign country’s.
 * There are a lot of wordpress websites out there that provide the possibility 
   to submit links and websites, a new form of linkpages.
 * My question is, why do wordpress websites in this form have such great effect
   on your position in Google when you submit your site to one?

 * Anyone who claims they can submit your site FOR YOU is probably scamming you.
 * Just make your site and submit them to google etc yourself.

 * No thats not what I mean, I’ll show you the webpage where i submitted it to.
 * This SEO guy has build a wordpress website: [http://arjansamson.nl/directory/](http://arjansamson.nl/directory/)
   Where you can submit your website.
 * When I submitted my website to his wordpress site, I instantly ranked up dozens
   of positions in Google within the same day. So the effect is greater than submitting
   your site to a normal linkpage (same pr).
 * Why is that? Why does a wordpress linksite have a better effect on your website
   position than a normal linksite?
