 * [@vikp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/vikp/) We’re sorry to hear you are
experiencing this issue on your site.
 * Can you please first confirm you are using the most recent version of Yoast SEO,
version 19.3? You can learn more about updating here: [How can I update my free plugin?](https://yoast.com/help/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/)
 * Also, can you confirm you are using WordPress 6.0.1? You can check by clicking
on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check
with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of
WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide
explains more: [Why we don’t support old WordPress versions.](https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/)
 * If you update to the most current version of Yoast SEO and WordPress, does this
   resolve the issue?
 * If you have confirmed both WordPress and the Yoast SEO =plugin are up to date
and the problem is still occurring, we would next recommend a conflict check.
You can sometimes experience functionality problems or unexpected behavior from
the plugin due to plugin or theme conflicts.
 * Can you confirm you have performed a complete plugin/theme conflict check by
disabling other plugins, and resetting the theme to a default such as [TwentyTwenty](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwenty/)?
 * We have additional information on how to check for a conflict here: [How to check for plugin conflicts.](https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/)

require any further assistance please create a new issue.
