    Hello,

I have just set up the plugin using SMTP, SSL authentication. I tried sending out the test mail a couple of times to an outlook email address and the always end up in the junk folder.

Any idea how to solve this?

    Thank you,

    Hi @moegnd,

The reason for emails reaching the spam/junk folder is the email being unauthenticated. Make sure you’ve set up DMARC, SPF, DKIM for your domain, check here. Domain reputation is the key to improving email deliverability. Try sending a plain text test email to see if it reaches the inbox.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi @sanzeeb3

I generated a DMARC and my web hosting provider helped set it up on my domain. I’ve waited a couple of days to make sure it took effect but the problem is not resolved yet. my website email still ends up in junk mail for outlook email addresses.

    Any idea?

    Regards,

Hi @moegnd – Outlook mailbox has super strict policies on filtering emails. Domain reputation, Sender’s address, quality contents, etc. are key factors that affect your email delivery. Unfortunately, there is nothing much the plugin could do. Alternatively, I’d recommend switching to other available mailers, in case that helps.

    I hope this helps!
