    Good morning friends.
The issue concerns the plugin “Sensei LMS Certificates” that generates certificate pages once people finish the course.
The message seems to have origin on the pdf creation: “The file can’t be opened”
It happens with all the certificates issued.

    Thanks a lot.

    The example page:

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Have the certificates ever been generated correctly? If so, what changed between then and them not working? Plugin updates, etc?

What versions of Sense LMS and Certificates are you using? Make sure you’re updated to the most current (3.12.0 and 2.2.0, respectively) versions.

If the plugins are up to date, I’d next test for theme or plugin conflicts.

I’d suggest setting up a staging site first. Many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

    Next, test for conflicts.

Try disabling all of your plugins except Sensei LMS (and extensions). Then try testing again to see if the issue persists. If that resolves your issue, you can find what was causing it by enabling each plugin one by one while continuing to test.

If that doesn’t help, you can also try switching to the Twenty Twenty theme via Appearance > Themes, and test again. If the issue is resolved then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you’ll need to contact the theme author for further assistance.

Let us know what you find.

    Best,
    Cena
