# SendLocation issue

 * Thank you for your very useful plugin.
 * Unfortunatelly I cannot get it to work together with iOS sendlocation app.
 * Trackserver is running, map is visible in page. Shortcode setup is [tsmap infobar
   =yes user=1 live=yes zoom=8]. Tried other variants according to documentation.
   Even user=@.
 * Sendlocation is setup with the link provided by Trackserver profile page.
    Sendlocation
   shows correct position data. New info was added by author to its screen: “last
   response from server:”. Its empty (showing no data)
 * ISSUE: no position or live track is visible on the page map. No infobar is visible.
 * If I try the setup link in web browser, it shows: “bad request”
 * I would very appreciate your help.

 * iOS 11.2.5 (latest)
    tried iphone 6s plus, iphone X, iphone 5 (ios 10), all same
   result sendlocation 2.5 (updated 6 days ago, should work with iOS 11)
 * win server 2012r2
    wordpress 4.9.2 latest, multisite subdirectories PHP version:
   5.6.19 Apache/2.4.18 (Win32) mod_fcgid/2.3.9

 * I am sorry that SendLocation doesn’t work for you. Unfortunately, I’m not sure
   if I can help you. I do not own an iOS device, so I have no real way to test 
   SendLocation support in Trackserver.
 * I would have to know exactly what SendLocation is sending to the server. Can 
   you configure Apache to log the full request (including query string) and send
   me a sample of the log? I think you will have to define a custom Logformat in
   Apache and make sure ‘%q’ is in your format string.

 * I updated WAMP server to 3.1.1
    PHP to 7.2.1 Apache to 2.4.29 All works fine 
   now.

 * Hi, I’m glad to hear it works now, although it’s strange that the solution was
   an upgrade of the server software. Good to know that Trackserver works with PHP
   7.2, because I haven’t tested that myself.

 * Sure, I have to add to other 5 stars reviews.
 * Today the developper of SendLocation published a new update, which added a new
   parameter.
    Maybe this is the reason that Sendlocation’s “server response” field
   returns “<br />” now? Unfortunatelly it stopped working again with Trackserver
   after this update.

 * Hi,
 * I just realized, there was a bug with SendLocation that I fixed last November.
   Unfortunately, the fix is only on Github, and not in the version on WordPress.
   org. Can you check if yours is the same problem?

 * If you’re willing to try out the upcoming version of Trackserver, you can download
   the whole plugin from Github and install it. When the new version is released
   on WordPress.org, you can upgrade via the WP backend as usual.
