    I’ve seen a few posts by people with similar problems but not sure if it’s because of the same thing.

    I installed Subscribe2 a couple of days ago and have encountered a couple of problems.

    1. Registered users aren’t receiving updates, I’ve searched through the settings and can’t seem to find the applicable area to turn this on.

    2. Some public subscribers aren’t receiving emails. They are delivered to my email account but not my fellow administrators which we used as a test. Why is this?

    First thing to check is that you are sending the emails from a real email address on the same domain as your blog. Look in the Subscribe2->Settings page where is says “Send emails from” and make sure you have selected a user account name (not one of the top 2 options) and that this account has an email address on-domain with your blog. So, if your blog is then the email for this WordPress account should be something like

    If all of that looks right then raise a ticket with your hosting provider and ask them how emails are restricted on your hosting plan and what you need to do to ensure your generated emails get sent.

    I’ve contacted my hosting company and they said there should be no restrictions on emails.

    Does JetPack interfere with the plugin?


    If your hosting company are saying that they are stupid or lying. ALL hosting providers restrict emails in some way to limit / prevent / restrict spam. If your hosting provider don’t do this then they’ll pretty soon be blacklisted as a spammer.

    JetPack does interfere with some of the Subscribe2 functions.
