Sending Emails But Fails On Password Reset Emails

    Hi, I am getting the following error

    EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.5.1 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

    Mailer: Other SMTP
    SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.
    Consider running an email test after fixing it.

    The strange thing is when I do an email test it gets through. Woocommerce is sending customer order confirmations.

    But whenever they try to do password reset the error occurs and they don’t get the password reset email. I have your plugin running on another site and there are no issues.

    Do you have any suggestions? Should I uninstall and reinstall and if so is there a certain way I should do that.

    Hi @webosaurus – Are you using constants in wp-config.php to secure your SMTP settings? In some conditions, the value of the constant can’t be retrieved due to its misplacement. Please make sure to add the constants above the line that reads:

    /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */,
