Are you using the sendgrid module? If so try to disable it.

Thanks Stefano,
No I’m not using the sendgrid module…. :/
Ok, so follow those steps. Create a newsletter and press “save and test”. Does the email is delivered?

Yes it is delivered when I do that.
Ok, next step is to press “send” on a newsletter and you should see it listed as “sending (xx/yy)”. yy is the approximative number of total receivers.
If the email is listed in that status, it means the delivery engine will date care to deliver it. You may want to take a look to the delivery engine page on my site to know more about it.
Let me know.

Yes, I did that, and I can see the “sending 0/3400” but it is stay on 0. Like I doesn’t want to send the newsletter.
So I read the documentation about delivery engine, but didn’t understand well the part about the cron system.
I look in my wp-config.php file if I could find the “DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true” and I didn’t find it. So this should be a good thing I guess.
Then for this ” be sure you are not blocking the wp-cron.php calls with basic authentication” how can I do to know if I’m blocking the wp-cron.php?
Thanks!
Can you give me your blog address? And on diagnostic panel, the delivery engine what is reporting? Not active?

the blog address : http://www.aircom.fr
In the Diagnostic panel I’ve got that : “It seems the cron system is not working. Reload the page to see if this message change.”
So yes, I think there is a problem with cron system…. What can I do to resolve it?
See the delivery engine pagine on my site (start from http://www.satollo.net/plugins/newsletter). Your blog is new without traffic? The cron system must be triggered on blog with low traffic, you” find instructions on my page.

What i have noticed is that if your using SMTP with GMAIL then in the settings TLS wont work. You need to use SSL

Thank you, very much . It’s almost working now !
So I think we have a problem with the cron. So here the steps I followed on your delivery engine documentation :
- i try to find in my wp-cron.php the code DISABLE_WP_CRON. And I didn’t find it (which is a good thing)
- I went on this webpage http://www.aircom.fr/wp-cron.php and a blank page was returned (so it’s ok too)
- I Used a free cron service : http://www.setcronjob.comand I created an account.
Then, in the “my cron jobs” part, I enter my domain name like : “http://yourdomainname.com/cron.php”.
- Now the newsletter is send only when I click on the “trigger now “button, in the diagnostic panel. It’s not sending automatically…. and I still have a message that tells me that the cron system is not working about delivery engine.
Any Idea what can I do to make it works?
Hi, the disable_cron, if present, is inside the wp-config.php. On cron job verify you used http://www.aircom.fr/wp-cron.php as page to call.
When you see that the cron system is not working, it means the cron are not registered. upgrade to version 3.2.3 where there is an improvement on this topic (on some installation the cron work for a couple of calls and then shut down).
