@planky what about in your MailPoet’s Settings page? Have you checked that? If changing there doesn’t work, this might be enforced by your current sending method (aka, a third party SMTP provider or your web host).

Its since started working properly after the first newsletter. Still at a loss as to where it got the info@ address. Or why the settings in the newsletter or plugin where ignored/not saved.
The email address doesn’t exist and not configured anywhere within wordpress or the server.
The postfix logs show it accepting the emails with info@ as the sender, indicating mailpoet sending them with that.
All other emails, notifications from this VPS send with the appropriate sender address without issue, no restrictions from the provider
I’ll see if I can replicate the issue and confirm where the issue/bug lies.
Thanks!

On another note, why can’t I see this topic in https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wysija-newsletters/ ?
I attempted to post this about 5 times but it never showed so I was surprised to get a response.
Edit: oh, its not sorted by last post date. That’s irritating.

I am also having this issue. Any suggestions on how to resolve?
Hi, I’m facing this issue and I do not see a solution on the forums. Despite changing the sender and return address, it still reverts back to a info@domain.com email address for both.
These are my mailpoet settings:
<script async src=”//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>
I’m still facing this issue that the original user had, but I do not see a resolution.
These are my settings.

I am also having this problem. The plugin created an info@domain.com email address using the domain name I am on and when I change it and “Activate” or Save it just reverts back to that email address. Cannot use this plugin with that setting broken.
Hi.
Try this in your DataBase.
1) Go to “prefix”_wysija_email table.
2) Update your post row in data base modifing from_email,from_name,reply_email and reply_name to your emails values.
3) Create a new post to check it.
Thanks
It’s ok, There were two customer fields – even tough I can’t remer to ever have set them. I just cancled them.

MailPoet – could you please advise what the solution here is?
See the instructions an picture here above! Translated to english it something like “Go to Settings/forms/there to any form and cancel all fields you don’t need!”

I don’t think this solves mine or David Tierney’s issue…
THe issue is the MailPoet plugin created an info@domain.com email address using the domain name we are on and when we change it and “Activate” or Save it just reverts back to that email address.
Sorry – I don’t understand, what you mean. My issue is solved – I just had a look.
Please send a screenshot from what you mean.
Go into MailPoet -> Newsletters -> I click “Edit” on a Newsletter that I have set up -? Next Step -> Next Step -> The final step is where I update the “Sender” and “Reply to name & Email” email address. If I hit Save and go back into the Newsletter to check if the email addresses have saved, it still goes back to the old info@domain.com email address.

I tried to reproduce. It seems that mailpoet only accepts the same emailadress and Name in “sender” and in “E-mail and name of the reply receiver”, if not, it puts the other field back to values of the already changed one. For me this is ok.
