  • I have been using CF7 for a couple years now. With most of my clients it works. However a few of my clients don’t have email accounts at their domain. They might have something@aol, something@gmail, etc. For these clients configuring email in administration is a problem and returns the error:

Sender email address does not belong to the site domain

How do you get around that?

I have both @gmail.com and @mywebsite.biz email accounts. If I configure the program to send messages to: me@mywebsite.biz it works perfectly. However if I set it to email “firstname.lastname@gmail.com” it fails. I have several @gmail.com accounts for testing and it fails with all just as it works for any@mywebsite.biz. Also for the record, with gmail there is a feature for allowing less secure apps. I have that enabled so that should not be an issue (see: https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps).

    Arigatoo.
