 * Hi,
 * At your web site for my account, I am asked for the domain sender – to create
   CNAME DNS records, two, and I did as you asked, plus using your guide, [https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/188-how-to-set-up-mailpoet-sending-service#dns](https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/188-how-to-set-up-mailpoet-sending-service#dns),
   but only the TXT record was validated by you, not the CNAME ones.
 * I did an NSLOOKUP for both the CNAME values, of dkim1.sendingservice.net and
   dkim1.sendingservice.net – and both are not resolved (using the DNS server of
   1.1.1.1) – is it the reason?

 * OK, one step forward – Cloudflare advised me to solve this by changing their
   DNS feature of “CNAME Flattening” to use the value of “Flatten CNAME at root”–
   and once it is the active value – Mailpoet was able to verify the two CNAME values.
 * 1. Please add this data to your guide, [https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/188-how-to-set-up-mailpoet-sending-service#dns](https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/188-how-to-set-up-mailpoet-sending-service#dns),
   it will save customers a lot of time waste and frustration
 * 2. Still, why dkim1.sendingservice.net and dkim2.sendingservice.net are not resolved
   to anything? (IP using A record or a CNAME value)

 * Hello [@eitanc](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eitanc/),
 * Thanks for the tip about Cloudflare. Are you still having issues with DKIM? DNS
   changes may take as long as 24hours to take effect. Make sure to also check the
   troubleshooting section on our guide.
 * If you’re still having issues, kindly contact us directly via email so we can
   take a closer look.
 * Thanks,

 * Na, all if fine now. The change is immediate, just let folks know what to choose.

   Also explain why the CNAME values are not resolved at the end to an IP, as folks
   might wonder if it all will work since no IP at the end of this process. Thanks.
