    After the last update to ver. 5.7.1. the contact form sends a double email to the administrator.

    we use contact form 7 & contact form7 Multilingual..

    it was working flawlessly before the upgrade

    double email sent is a well known thing with the plugin, never been fixed, it pops up now and again, myself I add a timer code snippet to prevent double submissions so often, but still I get double emails now and again (so that doesn’t totally work also). I do not get double emails with other contact forms.

    great, and what can i do but restore yesterday’s copy.

    I had a hard time understanding this problem. But in my case the doublets happened when the user was double clicking the submit button in the form. This is a common behaviour with some users.

    I solved it by adding the plugin “Redirection for contact form 7”. This will replace the form with a confirmation text so the user has nothing to click on.
