# Send Test Mail Error

 * The button throws me this.
 * Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘phpmailerException’ with message ‘Could not 
   instantiate mail function.’
 * And the option “Send emails via SMTP.” is not selectable.
 * I am not working offline and sending emails from wordpress for new users works
   just fine.
 * Sent you an e-mail with user/password for the demo account but no response.
 * The button descriptors still looking like this : [http://www.fvnet.ch/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/guiform_bug.png](http://www.fvnet.ch/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/guiform_bug.png)
   
   event after the plugin upgrade and wordpress 3.9
 * Tried to completely uninstall and reinstall the plugin without success.
 * Please let me know if you can help or if I have to try another plugin.

 * Hello,
    I am able to send a test mail and receive it, but when submitting a form
   it does not receive. It goes through the process and get a thank you message 
   but the form/mail never leaves. Any idea?
