 * is there a way that i can have a plugin read in informatin from a query string
   that is sent to a permalink?
 * for example, i want to use this link
    [http://www.mysite.com/archives/permalink/?x=4&y=1](http://www.mysite.com/archives/permalink/?x=4&y=1)
 * and have a plug-in read in x and y so that the page is dynamic.

 * $query_string? Better still, $x and $y?
