Send notifications based on subscriber setting

    Hi there,

    I’m looking for a newsletter plugin that is a bit more advanced. Basically I have a car website where I want users to be able to sign up to a mailing list but as well as having their name and email address, it has additional fields to specify the type of car they want.

    Then when a new car is added to the database, I want it to check the make and model of the car (which is a custom post type) against the mailing list to check if any users in the mailing list want are looking for that particular make or model and if any users in the mailing list are then to only send them an email with the details of the car.

    Is this possible with this plugin?

    @roperjonathan – Did you ever find an answer to this. We have similar needs in creating custom segments.

    We just added custom fields to our Pro version. So theoretically you could create a custom field of car makes and/or models and save that data to each subscriber. We haven’t added a way to query that data yet (we will eventually). But if you have a developer, they could probably use that data to create a list for you (theoretically). Hope that helps. Wish it was a little further along to do all that you want out of the box.
