    A new order email should be sent to the customer. An email is sent if the order status goes to on-hold or processing. And then another email is sent for a completed order.

    You can check your settings at WooCommerce > Emails > Settings.



    I found out this topic when trying to solve my problem. When editing an order (the client wants to add one more product) I can’t send a new email to the client with the updated order. The “new order” email is sent only to me. Any solution?

    I am having the exact same issue. New order email only sent to admin or custom email address but not to customers. Anyone found any solution for it? if yes then please share 🙂

    I am also interested in this, as a confirmation to the customers would be really necessary.
    E.g. I use Bank transfer as a payment gateway, and once the customer leaves the “thank you” page, they have no information where to send the money, what is the order number etc.

    So I think a confirmation email sent to the customer immediately after successful purchase would be a great option.

    Please, someone, help us out.
