    It depends. If all of the Registered Users are all fully subscribed then you don’t need both lists. Subscribe2 could well be sending to both lists if the Registered Users are indeed all fully subscribed so it is probably wise to tidy things up.

    Thanks for your answer, I deleted the list of my public subscribers. However at least 1 Registered User did not get the email after publicing a post.
    Fot me it is not clear in Settings:
    Restrict the number of recipients per email to (0 for unlimited): 0 Edit
    Should I fill in 1 (default)?
    Is it depending of the competence of the user?

    The number of recipients per email is usually better set as 1.

    You need to check your Registered Subscribers subscription status. Click the word ‘edit’ in Subscribe2->Subscribers below their email addresses and make sure each user is subscribed to all of your categories, otherwise their subscription is not fully active.

    Yes after pointing the first two boxes under Compulsory Categories
    it works now.
