I would like to find a way to send out a message via email to a commenter once their comment is approved or denied. Ideally I would like to provide a default message for approved comment notification and one for rejected(deleted) that automatically is sent out when the status of the comment is changed.
So if the comment is approved they receive a general message letting them know it was approved, sent to the email address entered at time of comment. If the comment is not approved meaning the admin clicked delete instead of approve they receive a general rejection notice.
Has anyone done this before and I’ve simply missed it searching the forum? Would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
