Send email to people

    Hi,

    I have an entry in my blog that speaks about a fraud in the sale of cars that some people does. One commentator gave me the notice about a case where the police took action by a judge order.

    I want to inform all the people about this notice but most of them are not registered users and they aren’t subscribed.

    My question is if there is a plugin to send an email to all commentators of that post to inform the good news.

    No, as that would kinda be spamming, y’know. Let people sign up as they want. If they don’t want emails, respect them.

    Yes, but there are many plugins that sends bulk mails to registered users and people who commented. (Search for “newsletter” tag and you will see).

    Also I can extract the mails from the database if I wish to do something bad.

    All I want is that instead of sending to everyone, only choose one entry in my blog.

    (If you speak spanish, go to my profile then to my blog and read the only entry with more than 400 comments and you will find that is not a “bad thing” what i want to do)

    What YOU want to do is not bad 🙂 What OTHER people would do WITH that ability is bad, if that makes sense. Most newsletter plugins allow for opt in (or tell you when you comment ‘You might get an email…’) which is the correct way to go about it.

    Basically what I’m telling you has NOTHING to do with code (which sure, this is easy to do) and EVERYTHING to do with ethical behavior. If you didn’t tell people, when they posted, that they MIGHT get emailed, then you DO NOT email them.

    End of story. Anything else is abusing your information.

    (My Spanish is limited to what I learned in high school … so basically it’s crap.)
