    I've got a problem that is very frustating here (I've tried to search in this forum before for like 6 hours with zero result), so i decided to ask it here

    i'm running wordpress 3.4.2 and installing subscribe2 v8.5 and plugin wp smtp

    i've tried running my wordpress (http://rajasulap.net) in localhost before upload it to the web. and the subscribe2 plugin works like a charm in localhost

    but when it comes to the web...i got no idea why email preview fail to send (there is no message saying its failed, there is just no email on subscriber's inbox), and of course every time i add new post there's no email to my subscriber.

    please help me how to fix it?

    oh ya sending mail (from send email option) is working well. but when it comes to email preview it fails.

    and i've just realized when i try preview email from setting option, i got my email (sales@rajasulap.net) sending to itself 3 times. So this is really weird it is actually sending to its own address instead of subscriber's email addresses??

    please help

    Let's try to clear some things up here.

    The preview emails are simply previews of what your end user emails might look like. They are sent to the email address of the currently logged in user only, not to subscribers. So, from your description above that part is working fine.

    If your live emails are not currently working then it's most likely due to a hosting provider restriction on PHP generated emails. These need to be sent from an email address on your domain (so the sales@rajasulap.net address would be a good choice. If you have a WordPress user account set up with this address, go to Subscribe2->Settings and select that user name as the sender for the emails and try again.

    @mattyrob :

    Hi thanks for the reply mate! It's all solved now..big horaaay after hours of frustating moment :D

    apparently the email is not fail to send, but it sent only to logged in user (which is only sales@rajasulap.net itself)

    so what i was doin is just : activate the subscription to all registered user...and zap..the email sent like a charm!

    hope it can helps everyone elese that trapped in the same hole
