Sell unique products

    Hi, I have a marketplace where vendors can upload and sell their own products.
    The products they sell are virtual, and will be unique for each customer.
    So I’m looking for a way to enable that so when receiving an order, the vendor can send a unique URL to the customer where their custom product is.
    Is there a plugin I can use for that?

    I would try and use the standard password protection of WordPress and then try and combine it with a pass through mechanism, for example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/password-passthrough/

    But how would the vendor send the URL ‘after’ the purchase has been made?

    Hey @kreativamarketing !

    It sounds like your vendor is selling a product that will have a unique download for each customer. For example, custom portraits, a user pays for the “custom portrait” product but the download will be unique to that user only. Is that correct?

    If so, I would suggest looking for a plugin that allows you to attach files to the order directly. For example, this plugin is free and would give you that function. This way the customer has access to the unique download from their account page.

    Yeah! That’s exactly what I need.
    Sadly, the plugin you sent allows only pdf files, but otherwise it’s perfect for what I need.

    There might be other plugins out there that would suit your needs. The plugin we recommended wasn’t a plugin we developed.
