Hi,
thanks for your query. Sorry, don’t understand the question. Pricing Deals can give realtime discounts in the Catalog and the Cart. Can you please phrase your question as:
“item price is XX, discount in the catalog should be YY”
OR
“Buy 3, get a discount on next item”
Or failing that, just explain more…

Eh, sorry, what i meant is that we are selling items (snacks) for the price of $3.25 per 1/4lb or other weight . That means that she/he buy by weight. So we say he buys 3 of x item for 3.25 per 1/1/4lb.
But he can select by a drop down meny /weigts:
QTY: 1/1/4lb
QTY:1/2lb
QTY:3/4lb
QTY:1lb

OK, i see your pricing structure. What kind of discount would you like Pricing Deals to do for you?
Maybe i miss something here but its not a discount. We would like to have a price change depending how much you buy. The dropdown menu has this fix price.
So how do we do this? below

Select between:
QTY: 1/4 lb $3.25
QTY: 1/2 lb $6.50
QTY: 3/4 lb $9.75
QTY: 1 lb $12.99

The only way Pricing Deals will change a price based on quantity purchased, is if there is a Pricing Tier discount rule for **Cart** purchases. What it can do, is, **in the cart**:
Pricing Tier example:
Buy 1 get retail price
Buy 10 get 10% off
Buy 15 get 15% off
It looks to me like what your asking about is a basic variation, or group product, not a discount.
