Appreciate the feedback, let us know if there’s anything we can improve.
Best,
Actually now that you mention it, I noticed that it did not copy over the MP4s. Can my worker be misconfigured? Or is that not supported yet by the plugin?

The plugin is currently configured for images only, but will look into supporting video as well. Are you looking to speed up asset delivery or save on bandwidth costs?
Best,
I forked it and with Claude’s help added media/MP4 MIME type: https://github.com/kubo6472/bandwidth-saver-worker/tree/patch-1/
Will have to test and change the plugin as well.

Nice, it should be pretty straightforward with Claude. In terms of user experience it will be useful to know if the latency with video changes the experience in any fundamental way.

Hey Kubo, could you take a look at the latest versions in the repos?
They’re adding image and video support, but more testing would be really helpful:
Once you’ve reviewed them, I’ll start updating the SVN.
thanks for the prompt implementation. I can test in T+9h, will let you know.
I am trying this URL, but it does not seem to load from the CDN: media.fktrans.eu/fktrans.eu/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Web-Video.mp4
I updated both the worker and the plugin
My mistake, it was a max file size issue :D. Works pretty well now

I actually found a couple of issues in the process, could you try the latest worker? It should be running smooth now.
Yeah, I managed to get to testing only today.

I updated it a couple of minutes ago, found some valid issues.
I do have a sincere question, I know I used claude before to try and quickly implement some small technicality as a PoC, but I do wonder how much of the code is written “agentically” and how much is (at least properly reviewed) by humans?

All the code is written by Claude Code, I’m more like a PM and QA at this point. Anything that jumps out?
