Selective categories via shortcode

    Hello,

    I am wondering, is there any chance to add ID to categories and then implement the selective display of categories by shortcode. The purpose of this would be to show only specified categories and thus enable many different portfolios across the website.

    example:

    [portfoliopage cat=”1,2,5,10″]

    Hello yerb,

    We are currently building support for shortcode via an Add-On plugin.

    This will support placing the Portfolio by shortcode into any page or post as well as

    Categories – Add cat to nay page or post and it will show the Category items (with expander) and any child cats as Navigation menu items at the top.

    Tags – same as cats.

    Single Portfolio Items – either as just the item feature card or as the item post.

    You will see that add-on from Add-ons page http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=a3-portfolio&page=portfolio-addons when it is released.

    At this stage we think that is about a week to 10 days away. It will be a Premium Add-on that comes with Lifetime License for maintenance updates, feature upgrades and Premium support.
