The default value presented is “month to current date”. I then click on custom and try to go back from November to October with the < key on the next screen. The screen disappears and returns with the default screen. There are no error messages.

Thanks for sharing a screenshot.
I’m not sure I completely understand the exact issue you are experiencing, as the screenshot doesn’t show any unexpected behavior. Please let me know if I am missing anything within the screenshot by annotating/highlighting where the issue can be seen.
Also, selecting custom dates, and navigating between the months seems to be working as expected on my test site.
I’d like to have a better understanding of your sites current environment, please can you share the following:
- System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select
Get system report
and thenDownload for Support
. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here - Console errors: Please share any errors you may identify when inspecting the console on the page experiencing the issue.
